| Assemblies and programs are 45 minutes. Madam Griot wears African
Attire and displays African Artifacts and African American books for the students perusal. The performances incorporate drumming, songs chants folktales, fables
and narratives of role models.
Programs promote life skills, values, help build self-esteem, promote literacy and encourage students to believe in themselvesand to trust significant adults in their lives who give them guidance. Programs are interactive,& motivational. (Themes incorporated)
